PRIMARY CARE

We challenge mainstream healthcare and strive for exceptional service for the cost of less than your monthly cell phone bill

What is Direct Primary Care (DPC) and how is it different?
  • DPC is a type of healthcare that blends exceptional allopathic (modern) medicine with a holistic and functional approach, rooted in patient-centered care.
  • Eliminates the fee-for service model and places the patient at the center of the visit
  • One flat rate—no added costs, no hidden fees.
  • 24/7 access to your provider when you need it most—no waiting for an appointment, medication refills, or wondering if you need to be seen—text, call, zoom—we are here for you!
What are the benefits of becoming a Member?
  • Membership allows for Unlimited Access to your provider 24/7
    • Pay one flat rate and see or talk to your provider as many times as you need throughout the month!
  • Discounts on IVs, herbals, tinctures, injections, and tests/procedures in office
  • One-on-one Health Coaching Session with our highly trained and educated Health Coach
  • Two B-12 injections and an assortment of other tests/procedures included for free throughout the membership
What if I do not see a Provider often and I want to find a Doctor/Provider that specializes in Primary Care with a Holistic Approach?
  • DPC Non-Membership is for you! We offer “Pay-for the day Non-Member Visits” for any acute, urgent or chronic needs. Come as frequently as needed, the price doesn’t change and no need to sign up for a membership!
  • At Be Vital Health, we want to make Health Care cater to you! That’s why we have designed plans to fit YOUR needs (not the other way around)!
How much could I actually save with DPC?

Example: Susie Smith is a 55-year-old female suffering from fatigue and depression needing to make an appointment to be seen.

Fee for Service Model

Ms. Smith calls her PCP– she is given the earliest appointment for 3 weeks later.

She waits on average 30 minutes in the waiting room when she arrives

She is seen by the Provider for on average 14 minutes or less

She usually does not see the same Provider (which is also frustrating to Ms. Smith as she always has to repeat her history and feels like she does not build a rapport with her provider)

She is given medication and sent for blood work

She does not receive a call about results of her blood work

She receives a bill for a $40 copay and $375 for lab fees

It has been 5 weeks since she originally made her appointment and Ms. Smith feels the following: Still the same depression and now weight gain as a result of the medication. She now has to call to make a follow up appointment as a result of the weight gain and still feeling depressed

She put in a portal message about this concern, however never heard back

She pays another $40 to make an appointment and repeats the cycle again

Meet Dr. Mallory Fox

Dr. Fox holds a double masters and a doctoral degree from the University of Michigan and is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in Family Practice. She has extensive background work in Sub-Acute Rehab and Long-Term Care–providing and coordinating care between families, specialties, palliative and hospice in order to ensure patients have received full continuity of care. Completing a post-residency Internal Medicine rotation solidified her foundation in complex disease management and furthered her interest in combining modern medicine with a functional holistic approach.

We are lucky to have Dr. Fox after moving to us from UVA-Physicians Group in Stuarts Draft Family Practice. Dr. Fox has fallen in love with Virginia after just two short years and believes in the ability to provide high quality medical to all.

In her free time, she loves being outside gardening, reading, playing with her dog Bella and two cats Chubbs and Fredrick, boating and spending time with family and friends. Something interesting about her is that she loves being a part of her church and is a huge DIY, FIXER-UPPER and Home Improvement/Organizer. We are so excited to have Dr. Fox as our Primary Care Provider at Be Vital Health!
