Meet Dr. Mallory Fox
Dr. Fox holds a Double Masters and a Doctorate Degree from the University of Michigan and is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in Family Practice. Transferring from UVA Stuarts Draft Family Practice, Dr. Fox fell in love with small town living and believes in the ability to provide high quality medical to all.
Prior to moving to Virginia, she practiced and specialized in Internal Medicine and found a passion for chronic and complex disease management. She has extensive background work in Sub-Acute Rehab and Long-Term Care–providing and coordinating care between families, specialties, palliative and hospice in order to ensure patients have received full continuity of care. Completing residency training and working in Internal Medicine solidified her foundation in complex disease management and furthered her interest in combining modern medicine with a functional holistic approach.
In conjunction to working as a PCP, she has been an Associate Professor for over four years, both in Michigan and now currently at James Madison University where she teaches full time in the School of Nursing. She has a strong passion for academia that allows her to stay present with today’s fast growing and changing medical knowledge to keep you informed and receiving the most up-to-date
How much does a Primary Care Visit Cost?
Be Vital does not submit Primary Care consults to insurance companies but we will provide you with all the needed information (a superbill) so you can submit and possibly receive a reimbursement. You will have to contact your insurance company directly to submit the superbill for reimbursement, we do not have access to any of your health insurance information.

Can I use my own insurance for blood work, lab work, imaging or other procedures?
Absolutely! We actually encourage this! We work with YOUR insurance and can send you to your preferred hospital system. Quest is our lab of choice.
What type of medications will I receive here? Am I able to receive prescription medications?
Yes! At Be Vital, we work together to optimize your overall health! We choose the right treatment options for you whether it is prescription medications, herbals or a combination of both.
I am interested in exploring alternatives for pain and/or disease control through Cannabis oil, is there a practitioner who is certified in this?
Yes, Dr. Fox is a registered practitioner for Cannabis Oil through the Virginia Board of Pharmacy.
